This qualification will typically take 5-7 weeks to complete.
To achieve this qualification the learner will be required to complete 3 mandatory units.
The purpose of this qualification is to increase the learner’s knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and prevent in the education sector, while working directly with children and young people. The qualification will support those who are working or want to work in child facing roles across the education sector.
The aim of the qualification is to support learners to develop and extend their awareness of safeguarding and prevent, including key legislation and government initiatives, as well as dealing with and responding to concerns. The learner will also develop an understanding of safety online and how to reduce risks posed online.
Evidence produced for the qualification will be internally assessed by your assigned course tutor.
This course can be delivered using a blended learning approach. This will give you flexibility to direct your own online learning. You will be assigned a tutor to provide support and guidance including face to face if desired. As well as having access to resources and collaboration tools to assist your learning.
