This qualification will typically take 8-10 weeks to complete.
To achieve this qualification the learner will be required to complete 4 mandatory units.
The purpose of this qualification is for those learners’ who wish to develop their awareness of behaviour that challenges and its effects. This qualification can support learners who wish to pursue a career in education or health and social care or for those who are already in an established working role. It can also support progress onto other appropriate qualifications.
Its aim is to provide learners with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the different types of behaviour that challenges and to look at how to offer focused support to promote and encourage positive behaviour. By the end of the course the learner will understand the importance of effective communication and behaviour management as well as supporting an environment of reflection following incidents of behaviour that challenges.
Evidence produced for the qualification will be internally assessed by your assigned course tutor.
This course can be delivered using a blended learning approach. This will give you flexibility to direct your own online learning. You will be assigned a tutor to provide support and guidance including face to face if desired. As well as having access to resources and collaboration tools to assist your learning.
