This qualification will typically take 4-6 weeks to complete.
To achieve this qualification learners will be required to complete 4 mandatory units.
The qualification is aligned to the National Dementia Strategy and is suitable for a wide range of learners. The qualification will support and develop learners’ knowledge and awareness of Dementia including; causes and symptoms, understanding person-centred care, positive communication methods, equality, diversity and inclusion in dementia care.
It is aimed at learners who wish to progress to higher level learning and for those who wish to pursue a career in health and social care, in local authority and private care environments.
Evidence produced for the qualification will be internally assessed by your assigned course tutor.
